      What should the privacy settings for videos be?

      Learn what the privacy settings for your videos should be to ensure workers can successfully watch them on GoContractor.

      GoContractor allows you to incorporate videos into courses for workers to watch as part of their training. The below settings are intended to ensure that your videos are able to be viewed without any playback issues.

      GoContractor's preferred video hosting website is Vimeo, though you can also use YouTube. 

      Privacy Settings for Vimeo

      In order for videos to be viewed in a GoContractor course, they must be configured with the following privacy settings.

      1. Content Rating: All audiences

      2. Share - Link privacy: Public

      3. Embed - Embed privacy: Anywhere

        unnamed (2)

       

      Note: The default embed privacy settings allow videos to be viewed in specific domains, including gocontractor.com, help.gocontractor.com, id.gocontractor.com, app.gocontractor.com, app.initiafy.com, linkedin.com. However, if the embed privacy settings are not set to Anywhere, videos cannot be viewed in the GC Connect app.
