As a GoContractor administrator, you may find an error in the email, role, or receipt of a GoContractor invite to a project for one of your users or you simply want to resend an invite to join your project. GoContractor gives you the ability to edit any PENDING invites to update key information about a user's access and profile information to ensure they can properly access their orientation and qualification requirements.
You can:
Update the user Role in the project
If the user's access has changed or just does not seem quite right. You can change this at any time in the user's journey, even after the user has accepted!
- Go to Invitations > Users
- Click the Pending invite of the user you would like to update the role for.
- You will get a view of their profile.
- Click the three ellipses (dots) next to the profile image
- Click " Edit invitation Profile"
- Select the Role the user should be under when they accept.
Edit the email address associated with the invite
If you sent an invite to the wrong user and they have not accepted or there is a typo preventing them from accepting. You can change the email anytime prior to the invitation being accepted through other means
- Go to Invitations > Users
- Click the Pending invite of the user you would like to edit or change the email to
- You will get a view of their profile.
- Click the three ellipses next to the profile image
- Click " Edit invitation Email"
- Enter the email you would like to send the invite to instead
- Click "Update"
- A new invitation email will go to the updated email address.
Resend an invitation
A user may have had issues with their email or the email went to their spam and was deleted. In any case, you can resend an invitation email anytime prior to the user accepting the invite or creating a password.
- Go to Invitations > Users
- Click the Pending invite of the user you would like to resend the invite to
- You will get a view of their profile.
- Click the three ellipses next to the profile image
- Click " Resend Email"
