As a user on GoContractor, if you would like to change your password and you're already logged into your account, you can do so by following the steps below.
Note: If you ever need to reset your password because you have forgotten your current password, you can do so by following the steps further down this page.
How to Update Your Password (if You're Already Logged In)
On a Web Browser:
1. Click the drop-down symbol in the top right corner of your screen
2. Click "My Settings"
3. In the section titled "Change Password," click "Enter New Password"
4. Enter your current password
5. Enter new password
6. Enter new password again to confirm that it matches what you entered in the previous step
7. Click "Save"
On the GoContractor App:
1. Tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner of your screen
2. Tap "Change Password"
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter new password
5. Enter new password again to confirm that it matches what you entered in the previous step
6. Click "Save"
How to Reset Your Password on a Web Browser
By Email:
1. Open a web browser and go to https://id.gocontractor.com/login
2. Click "Forgot password?"
3. Enter the email address with which you registered your GoContractor account
4. Click "Next" (This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.)
5. Click "Ok"
6. Open the email and click "RESET PASSWORD" (This will open GoContractor on your browser.)
(Note: If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders.)
7. Enter new password
8. Enter new password again to confirm that it matches what you entered in the previous step
9. Click "Confirm"
By Phone:
1. Open a web browser and go to https://id.gocontractor.com/login
2. Click "Forgot password?"
3. Enter the phone number with which you registered your GoContractor account
4. Click "Next" (This will send you a text with a verification code to reset your password.)
5. Enter the verification code
6. Click "Verify"
7. Enter new password
8. Enter new password again to confirm that it matches what you entered in the previous step
9. Click "Confirm"
How to Reset Your Password on the GoContractor App
Using Your Phone Number:
1. Open the GoContractor app
2. Tap "FORGOT PASSWORD?"
3. Enter the phone number with which you registered your GoContractor account
4. Tap "Next" (This will send you a text with a verification code to reset your password.)
5. Enter the verification code
6. Tap "OK"
7. Enter new password
8. Enter new password again to confirm that it matches what you entered in the previous step
9. Tap "Confirm"
Using Your Email Address:
1. Open the GoContractor app
2. Tap "FORGOT PASSWORD?"
3. Enter the email address with which you registered your GoContractor account
4. Tap "Next" (This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.)
