The "My Settings" page in GoContractor, is where you can make updates or changes to your personal account.
Key updates and changes you can make in "My Settings"
- Update your profile image
- Change your first or last name
- Update your contact information including email and phone
- Change your password
- Select to view GoContractor in a different language
- Delete your account
To get to the "My Settings" page please go to:
1. id.gocontractor.com/login
2. In the top right corner of the screen click the drop-down arrow.
3. Click "My Settings"
How To Update You Profile Image
- Login to id.gocontractor.com/login
- Once logged in to your account, please go to the drop-down menu in the top right-most corner beside your name and select My Settings.
- On the next screen, you should see on the left-hand side, the option to upload a profile picture to your account.
- You should be able to drag and drop a profile picture or select a profile picture from your device. Or edit the photo that is there.
How To Update Your First OR Last Name
- id.gocontractor.com/login
- In the top right corner of the screen click the drop-down arrow.
- Click My Settings > Click the pencil icon and change the first OR last name.
Note: Names can only be updated or changed once per year. You can only change your first or last name ,not both. If you have made a change to your name recently, and receive an error message, please reach out to our support team for assistance in making this change to your profile.
How To Change Your Email
- Go to Id.gocontractor.com/login
- In the top right corner of the screen click the drop-down arrow.
- Click My Settings > Below your profile email click + Change Email
- Enter the new email address
- Click Send Confirmation
How To Add Your Phone Number
- To the right of where your Phone number is displayed, locate and select the edit icon
- Enter the new name you'd like displayed, and select "Save"
- You will receive a text message with a verification request. Complete this request within 5 minutes of saving your number of the verification will fail.
- UPDATING: At this time if you have to update your number within 365 days from the date it was added, please reach out to our support team to verify and update your number.
How To Change Your Password
- Locate the "Change Password" section on the My Settings page
- Select "Enter New Password"
- Enter the required fields, (i.e. Current Password, New Password, Confirm New Password).
- Before exiting this screen, select "Save"
How To Select A New Display Language
- Go to app.gocontractor.com
- In the top-right click the drop-down option and click "My Settings".
- Under "Languages" click the drop-down
- You will be able to select from the following languages:
- English (Ireland)
- English (United Kingdom)
- Japanese (Japan)
- English (United States)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Spanish (Mexico)
- Dutch (The Netherlands)
How To Delete Your Account
- Locate the "Delete Account" section on the My Settings page
- Select the "Delete Account" button displayed.
Note: If you're not tied to a project or invite, you may not see the "Delete Account" button. Accounts that do not have any pending invites, projects or data attached to them are automatically deleted after 28 days of inactivity.
