# How do I edit a requirement and/or a qualification?

## Sometimes after publishing a qualification, you may need to update the requirements that are in it.

 

**How to get there:** Access the admin portal. Click the **Setup** tab, then click either **Worker Qualifications** or **Subcontractor Qualifications**.

*Note: Project admins are not able to edit/create requirements or qualifications. Only admins can do so.*

#### *Note: If you need to edit a **course**, you must do so from the **Courses** section of the **Setup** tab.*

 

### How to Edit a Qualification

1\. Click the **Setup** tab

2\. Click either **Worker Qualifications** or **Subcontractor Qualifications**

3\. Click into the **Qualification** that needs to be edited.

From here, you can edit the titles of the qualification and any of its sections, as well as add/remove sections and requirements. 

To update either the qualification title or a section title, double click into the the correct title field, make your changes, then either hit the **Enter** or **Return** key on your keyboard or click the save/floppy disk icon to the right of the title field.

**To remove a requirement,** click the trash can icon on the requirement.

**If you a requirement is not already in your library, then you will need to create it.** To do so, click **Create Requirement**, select the type of requirement, enter the necessary information, then click **Save to Library**. Now you can move it to a section by following the instructions below.

**To add a requirement that is already in your library**, locate the requirement in your library, click the three vertical dots, hover your cursor over **To Section**, then click the section where you would like to put the requirement.

*Note: When you move a requirement to a section, the system automatically makes that requirement mandatory for workers to complete. If you would like the requirement to not be mandatory, uncheck the box next to **Mandatory**.*

*Once you have finished making your changes, there is nothing more you need to do!*

*Because the qualification is already published, it does not need to be published again.*

*If the qualification is already applied to a project, it does not need to be reapplied to that project.*

*However, if the qualification is not yet applied to a project, then you must apply it to a project in order for workers to be able to complete it.
