# How do I edit what a worker or admin has access to?

You may find that a person's role or the list of projects they have access to needs to be updated. As a General Contractor administrator, edit access of workers, admins, project admins or managers. 

 

### Update an Internal Worker's Projects

This applies to workers who are employed directly by your company, the general contractor.

1. Go to **Workers**
2. Find the worker you'd like to update
3. Click the **three dots** on the right side of the line containing that worker's name
4. Click **Edit Worker Access**
5. Select which projects they should have access to
6. Click **Save**

### Update an Admin's, Project Admin's, or Manager's Projects

1. Go to **Settings \> Manage Admins**
2. Find the user you'd like to update
3. Click the **three dots** on the right side of the line containing that user's name
4. Select which projects they should have access to
5. Click **Save**

### Change an Admin's Project Admin's or Manager's Role

1. Go to **Settings \> Manage Admins**
2. Find the user you'd like to update
3. Click the **three dots** on the right side of the line containing that user's name
4. Select which role they should have: Admin, Project Admin, or Manager
