# How do I edit what projects a subcontractor has access to?

## Edit what projects a subcontractor has access to or edit the codes associated with that subcontractor.

As a general contractor administrator, there may be times when you would like to edit a subcontractors access or details on their original invite. 

- Editing project access
- Editing codes
- Editing worker limits
- Editing descriptions

**To edit an existing subcontractor invitation:** 

1. Login to \>[**https://id.gocontractor.com/login.**](https://id.gocontractor.com/login)
2. Click **Subcontractors** on the left-hand side of your page.
3. Use the search icon on the right.
4. Search for a subcontractor.
5. **Click** the 3 dots on the invitation line.
6. Click the **edit** option.
7. Edit the invitation

Important: If editing the invitation code, please make sure to alert the subcontractor admin of this change as the previous code will no longer work when workers attempt to register.
