How do I use Useful Documents?

The useful documents section is a place to store general resources or materials that your team and fellow workers may need access to.

 

As a General Contractor Admin on GoContractor, you may have documents that you wish to share with others on your account.

These documents could be anything from: 

  • Site maps
  • Parking information for the site
  • Directions to the site for workers
  • Health and safety rules
 

Important: These documents will be visible to all admins, and workers who have been invited to your account across all projects.

If there is sensitive or need to know data that should not be shared with the public. We recommend hosting those documents on a third-party file system and share links with project members direct. GoContractor does not host documents at this time.

 
Note: Subcontractor admins do not have access to upload documents.
 

To upload these documents to your platform please do the following: 

  1. Login to > https://id.gocontractor.com/login.
  2. Click Settings > Click Useful Documents.
  3. Click +Document Top of the screen.
  4. Enter the Document title (This is what your admins will see when searching for the document).
  5. Click Choose File  > Select the file from your device. 
  6. When you have chosen all files you wish to add please click Upload

If you would like to instruct users to download additional resources:

  1. Login to > https://id.gocontractor.com/login.
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner.
  3. You will see a list of pending or completed inductions.
  4. In the top right of that list you will see two options "Qualifications" | 'Useful Documents'.
