How do I use Useful Documents?
Useful Documents is a section of the general contractor's account where general resources and project-related materials can be stored and made accessible to workers.
As a general contractor administrator, you may have pertinent documents that need to be shared with workers.
These materials can range from:
- Site maps
- Parking information for the site
- Directions to the site for workers
- Health and safety rules
If uploaded to Useful Documents, the materials can be made available to all workers on any given project, allowing workers to view and download the materials directly from their worker profile wherever they are.
Important: If there is sensitive or need to know data that should not be shared with the public, we recommend hosting those documents on a third-party file system and sharing links with project members directly.

How to Add a Useful Document
- Click the Settings tab
- Click Useful Documents
- Click + Document
- Enter the Document title
- Click Choose File and select the document from your device
- Note: There is a 60 MB file size limit on all document uploads.
- Select the Project(s)
- Click Upload

Workers can access Useful Documents by following these instructions.
On a Web Browser
- Once logged in, click Continue on their invitation
- Click Useful Documents in the top left corner
- Click the download symbol in the Actions column of the document
On the GC Connect App
- Once logged in, click Go on their invitation
- Click Useful Documents
- To view the document, click the eye symbol.
- To download the document, click the download symbol
