How to assign a QR code sticker to a worker for check-ins

Once a worker has a QR code sticker assigned to them, this sticker can be used to check-in the worker

 

 

How to get there: To access the 'Check-In' feature, a user must be a general contractor administrator or project administrator and signed into the GoContractor admin portal.

 

The check-in feature must be enabled for the account. Email support@gocontractor.com to ask about enabling the feature.

How to Assign a QR Code Sticker to a Worker

  1. Login at https://id.gocontractor.com/
  2. Click the 'Find Worker' tab
  3. Click the filter icon on the right-hand side, then search for the worker using either their name, email address, or phone number
  4. Click on the worker (This takes you to the worker's profile)
  5. Click 'Add Sticker' (This turns on your computer's camera)
  6. Move the physical sticker in frame and capture the sticker's QR code

 

How to Check In a Worker

  1. Login at https://id.gocontractor.com/
  2. Click the 'Find Worker' tab
  3. Click 'Scan QR Code' 
  4. Scan the worker's QR Code (This takes you to the worker's profile)
  5. Click 'Check In'
  6. Select the project
  7. Click 'Check In' (This checks in the worker. When you're ready to check the worker out, simply click "Checkout" on the worker's profile)
Important: The check-in process may vary based on the site implementation of check-ins. Please review your GoContractor administrator's documentation and confirm the process is valid before proceeding.
